Participation of Dr. Maša Jazbec at the international symposium SCI_ART II

Slovenia will once again participate in the international symposium SCI_ART II in Ottawa, Canada, on April 6 and 7, 2024. The event, featuring representatives from ten countries, brings together the fields of science and art.

With the support of the Association of Slovenians Educated Abroad (VTIS), Slovenia will be represented by researcher Dr. Maša Jazbec and intermedia artist and researcher Valerie Wolf Gang.

Dr. Maša Jazbec, who specializes in robotics and brain-machine interface technologies, will present the latest findings in the integration of robotics and neuroscience.

The SCI_ART program actively addresses current social issues by combining scientific and artistic approaches to tackle complex challenges of contemporary society. With its interdisciplinary approach, it enables an in-depth exploration of topics such as the impact of technological advancements on society, environmental changes, ethical dilemmas in science and technology, and social inequality.
