Numerous measures were implemented as part of the project, including the restoration of river habitats, the widening of the riverbed, the restoration of backwaters and floodplain forests. The project received the first prize in the aforementioned category.
Category: Cooperation
- Project: Mala barja – Marja: The project focused on improving the condition of basic lowland and transitional bogs in central Slovenia and Gorenjska. The award was received by the Parnas Institute for Biodiversity Conservation for Sustainable Development in the Natura 2000 Mišja dolina site.
