An exhibition of portraits of the recipients of the highest state awards in the field of science, research and innovation for 2024 will be on display at Krakov Dam in Ljubljana until 24 February 2025. The exhibition was prepared by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation in cooperation with Ljubljana Tourism. The exhibition presents portraits of 15 individuals, including:
• Zois Lifetime Achievement Award:
o Prof. Dr. Ljubica Marjanovič Umek for lifetime achievement in the field of developmental psychology
o Prof. Dr. Željko Knez for lifetime achievement in the field of chemical engineering
• Puh Lifetime Achievement Award:
o Igor Akrapovič for lifelong dedication to investing in the continuous development of products and technologies
• Recognition of the Ambassador of Science of the Republic of Slovenia:
o Prof. Dr. Kristina Djinović-Carugo for her contribution to the recognition of Slovenia in the field of integrative structural biology
The exhibition provides the general public with an insight into achievements that contribute to the development of science and innovation in Slovenia
