Most Innovative Foods of 2024 and Foods of the Decade
The Institute of Nutrition celebrated its tenth anniversary by awarding prizes for the most innovative foods of 2024 and special anniversary awards for foods of the decade. This year's winners include: the Dana Mineral sugar-free drink line, Spar's autumn bread, the black soybean pasta line Poljka, EGO yogurts, Kefir Krepki Suhec, chickpea cream burek, chickpea stew, Argeta vegetable spread, and millet porridge with apples. Special awards went to Don Don and Lidl for their yeast-free protein bread, and to Bevo for their plant-based "ribs" Juicy Marbles. The decade innovation awards were given to: LCA yogurts from Mlekarna Celeia, MU kefir from Ljubljanske Mlekarne, organic chickpea spirals BMM, Golden Tatar buckwheat porridge Rangus, Drožnik bread Žita, whole grain spelt bread Don Don, vegan tartar Minute Mercator, lentil Bolognese Natureta ETA Kamnik, and fish salads Delamaris.
