EOSC - European Open Science Cloud
EOSC (European Open Science Cloud) is an initiative of the European Union to create a sustainable platform for researchers to access open scientific data, services and research results. EOSC aims to improve collaboration and data sharing among European researchers and to facilitate access to high-quality data, tools and digital infrastructures. It is designed as a long-term initiative to become a key infrastructure for the European scientific community. Slovenia laid the foundations for the implementation of the principles of Open Science in 2015 with the National Strategy for Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data in Slovenia 2015-2020 and the Act on Scientific Research and Innovation (ZZrID).
