Through her ethical approach to technology development, she serves as a positive example of engineering that prioritizes people.

Rebeka Kropivšek Leskovar received the symbolic statuette from her predecessor, the 2023 Engineer of the Year Ljupka Vrteva from Petrol. During the ceremony, Ljupka Vrteva emphasized the importance of following one's dreams, authenticity, and continuous exploration, as knowledge enables the creation of a better future for all.
