The University of Ljubljana has, for the third time, awarded prizes and commendations to Dr. Uroš Seljak, honoring the renowned astrophysicist for his contributions to promoting research excellence among students. Dr. Seljak, an esteemed scientist and professor, donated ,000 to fund awards recognizing the best student scientific publications.

These awards aim to support young researchers, inspire their motivation for scientific work, and acknowledge outstanding achievements in research activities. Beyond providing financial support to the awardees, the initiative strengthens connections between Slovenia’s scientific community and globally recognized scientists like Dr. Seljak.

This initiative contributes to the promotion of research excellence at the University of Ljubljana and enhances the visibility of high-quality research contributions by students at the beginning of their scientific careers.
