The NENE (Nuclear Energy for New Europe) International Conference is the main event bringing together nuclear energy experts in Central and South-Eastern Europe. In 2025, the conference will take place from 8-11 September in Bled, Slovenia. The conference aims to discuss the latest technological, research and regulatory issues in nuclear energy, with a focus on its importance for the future of Europe.

NENE attracts researchers, industry experts and regulators alike, presenting the latest developments and innovations in the field of nuclear energy.

The conference is traditionally organised by the Nuclear Society of Slovenia in cooperation with a number of international partners. It is an opportunity to exchange experiences, build collaborations and discuss the future of nuclear energy in the context of new European policies.
