Neuro of the Weekend: electrical currents of thought
Electrical Thought Currents: the Brain-Machine Connection is designed to appeal to a wide audience - from young people interested in neurotechnology to professionals in the fields of neuroscience, robotics and information technology.
The event combines neuroscience and modern technology, visitors will have the opportunity to learn in an interactive way how brain signals can be used to control devices, select virtual and physical symbols and even control robots.
The technology uses EEG sensors to detect electrical impulses in the brain and converts these signals into commands that can be used to control various output devices.
The event aims to bring neurotechnology to the general public and younger generations, inspiring them to explore the fields of neuroscience and engineering and demonstrating interactive learning, as visitors will learn through hands-on demonstrations how brain signals work and how they can be used for control.
